Electro-forming, is the electronic deposition of metal onto an electrically conductive silicon mould, forming a thick and strong representation from that mould. The base metal we use is copper which we can plate gold, silver or nickel. It can be treated like any metal, soldered, annealed and given a polished mirror finish. We have made badges buttons and even a complete helmet. We made Queen Amidala’s head gear in Phantom Menace, armour bosses for Alexander and Gladiator, and the Kings mask in the Kingdom of Heaven. We have a good range of Napoleonic badges, and we can sculpt a 3D master and mould to reproduce an electro-form copy.
